Our love of beer and sharing the creative brews that Cory comes up with led us to open 2 Feet Brewing in downtown Bangor, Cory's hometown. His passion for quality beer and the blending of flavors gives him a creative tool to make unique flavors -- a ghost pepper/roasted jalepeno saison and a banana bread ale -- that people have come to love.
Our partner and fellow brewer, Jerry Robichaud, joined us in April and is just as passionate about making delicious beer.
We have watched as Bangor has slowly grown back into a destination point and have been inspired by Nocturnem Draft Haus, Central Street Farmhouse, Bangor Wine and Cheese, Penobscot Bay Brewery, Black Bear Brewing, Orono Brewing Co., Airline Brewing and others.
We hope you enjoy.
Cory Ricker, Head Brewer
Jerry Robichaud, Brewer
Cory began brewing beer about a decade ago and it turned serious in 2010. He studied for a year to become a recognized BJCP beer judge in 2015 and has been judging beers all over the northeast ever since. His passion to create unique brews led people to ask, "Where can I buy this?" Now we can say: 80 Columbia St., Bangor.
Jerry Robichaud, 2015 Bangor Homebrew competition winner for a Kentucky Common he created, has been brewing as long as Cory and joined the journey in early 2016.
It's a perfect pairing with two experienced brewers with an extensive recipe list to choose from. They will be keeping things interesting for the area craft beer crowd.
Expect to see some unique craft beers Bangor!
